With the launch of our first bridal collection, we spoke with real bride-to-be Christina, who modeled the very first sample of our Amore slip dress. She shared her wedding planning journey, how she met her fiancé Carmelo, and how she would style the Amore slip dress.

When is your wedding date?

October 4,2025

How did you two meet?

We met through a mutual friend group and his brother, who introduced us after Carmelo kept asking about me. I had known his brother since college, but years later, I found out he had a brother—Carmelo! From the very first night we were set up, we’ve been absolutely inseparable.

What are three things you've learned or experienced so far throughout your wedding planning journey?

I’ve definitely learned the importance of staying true to what I want and not letting outside opinions sway my decisions too much. It’s also crucial to compare prices from multiple vendors before committing—their sales pitches are so convincing! Costs can add up quickly, so staying mindful is key. Most importantly, I’ve realized how important it is to stay calm and enjoy the process. It can feel overwhelming at times, but I try to keep my focus on the ultimate goal—marrying my best friend!

How would you style our Amore slip dress?

I personally think the slip can be styled in so many different ways! I love adding pearl accents for a touch of elegance, and pairing it with a bride-to-be denim jacket with your future last name or a similar detail would be such a cute addition!

What are the three must-haves for your wedding?

Music is a must—we need great entertainment! Since I treasure memories, I made sure to hire a photographer and videographer I completely trust to capture moments we’ll cherish for a lifetime. It’s also incredibly important to us to honor our loved ones who are no longer with us. I’m planning a special tribute to them, possibly something like a “ladder to heaven” adorned with their pictures or another heartfelt gesture.

Are you incorporating anything fun or unique to your wedding?

hmm! Trying to keep it a secret! But we definitely have a little surprise we are working on to start off the reception.
